In order to make-up your absences:

2. Write at least 3 paragraphs highlighting the purpose of the event, work accomplished and/or main topics of the event. Include a personal response as to how this connects to your ideas of sustainability and our class.

Join us for a special guest to kick off our spring lecture series. As chair of the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ),Nancy Sutley serves as the principal environmental policy adviser to the President. The Council on Environmental Quality coordinates Federal environmental efforts and works closely with agencies and other White House offices in the development of environmental policies and initiatives. In addition, CEQ oversees Federal agency implementation of the environmental impact assessment process and oversees the Office of the Federal Environmental Executive, which works to promote sustainable environmental stewardship throughout the Federal Government.
